Virtual Author Series: Luke Epplin

Monday, July 5, 2021 - 2:00pm

Join us as we will celebrate the anniversary of the day Larry Doby broke the color barrier in the American League, July 5, 1947.

Author Luke Epplin will discuss his new book, Our Team: The Epic Story of Four Men and the World Series That Changed Baseball. In absorbing detail, Epplin’s Our Team traces the story of the integration of the Cleveland Indians and their quest for a World Series title through four key participants, including Larry Doby, the first Black player in the history of the American League.
